Products

MOLEX

Molex is a simulation/optimization tool for the simulation and optimation of recombinant protein production.

Recombinant protein production

Such a tool can be used for instance to optimize the fermentation process and could act as a cost effective alternative solution to laborious and time consuming trial and errors procedures to find the optimal combination of process parameters for the production of a given protein in fermentors.

Molex uses a generic library Chess that can be employed to simulate chemical processes in the cell. The current development versions are written in Java, but a version in C++ is in progress.

SOPAS

SOPAS is a SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) managing tools for researchers, laboratory technicians, chemists and others performing laboratory tasks, who require instance access to documents that detail how a routine or repetitive activity is to be performed. SOPAS offers all the capabilities, such as creating, updating, commenting on SOP, validating SOPs against QA rules, and so forth, that are required to manage a large collection of SOPs to ensure consistency and tracebility, unlike cumbersome traditional (mostly paper-based) systems. The new system is accessible from anywhere on the world (if required) and is 24 hours a day available. (Screenshot)

The current development version is based upon XML, Java and Cocoon.

SEA

SEA (Simple Event Management) is a complete solution for your IT requirements to manage and organize a (scientific) conference, course, workshop, seminar, meeting and related occurences. SEA is for parties (event organizers) that are responsible for the organization of events, who require an automated but powerful system for participant management. It is an online system embedded in the event's website (it can be used also as a stand-alone facility). It provides the ability to electronically administer the participants of an event and offers among other online registration, online handling of the payment of fees, contacting participants in the case of problems, abstract and lecture submission, semi-automatic generation of participant index and poster author index, participant login capabilities, and more, in an standardized and reusable manner, unlike the manual system.
